Money goes where????
So, I heard on the news that 10 billion dollars is going to Africa to fight the AIDS epidemic. 50 billion total (over the next 5 years) will go to fight diseases like AIDS and Tuberculosis. In Africa.

10 billion dollars could stay here, on shore, for example. Lets hypothetically that the 10 billion dollars went to stimulate the economy, like the promised $600 per person we're supposed to receive this year. According to the most recent census, 50,000,000,000 divided by 303,772,870 people in the US is another $164.60 in the pocket of EVERY (legal and non-incarcerated) American. If you factor out the percentage of the population that does not work (and therefore does not pay taxes), and you have even more in-pocket money to stimulate the economy.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with the US paying for things we caused, like helping to rebuild Iraq after we bombed it to oblivion. But, did we invent AIDS and test it in Africa? Can't AIDS research be done here by companies like Pfizer?
Can't we keep the money in the US?
